Schedule of Events

"Mini-events" are small gatherings on a variety of topics, led by members. Please let us know your ideas, and we'll get the word out to all members.

We try to host at least one event for members every month with a variety of emphases— education, community-building, advocacy. E-mail notices with details and registration information are sent several weeks before each event. Some of the events will raise funds to send our delegates to Terra Madre 2010.

Do you have a favorite restaurant you'd like to support? Let us know! Each quarter we hold a “meet-up”—as opposed to a “meeting”—for convivium members and their guests at a local restaurant that supports Slow Food’s “good, clean, and fair food” principles. This is an opportunity to socialize with fellow convivium members and to support local chefs. The date and location will be announced by e-mail.

Ideas and questions? Please e-mail Lisa Hunter, lkhunter@aol.com.
